I. OVERVIEW
MGG Submersible Type Electromagnetic Flowmeter is mainly used for flow rate measurement in open or closed channels. This flowmeter has been widely used in departments of water supply and sewage in towns, industrial waste water sewage, sewage management, farmland irrigation etc.
II. CHARACTERISTICS
- The body is made of plastics, resulting in light and corrosion resistant structure.
- The structure is simple having no moving parts. The flowmeter have sturdy resistance against staining, dogging or eroding if a fluid contains suspensions or adherents.
- The sensor can also be easily installed on any gate of an existing water channel. The channel may be an open or closed type with rectangular or circular cross section.
- A wide measuring range of 0-0.3 to 0-10m/sec can be covered still larger flows can be measured at the same water head by installing dummy sensor in parallel with the sensor which are of the same physical dimensions.
- The flow signal is linear, having a high measuring accuracy from 100% down to zero flow rate. Stable measurement can be done even when the channel is affected by the tide.
- The flowmeter can be used for measurement in open/closed channels or else river-way with circular / rectangular or trapezoid cross section independent of water rising, tide or changing of the downstream water.
- Using emulational sensor (distributary model ) the flow measurement range can be expanded.
